PLANNING YOUR SHOP
Wardrobe Tips Start planning to buy new key pieces once you have gotten rid of all your old clothes.
Visualize yourself in clothes, shoes, and accessories before you go. This includes socks, jewelry and bags. Also, consider how to dress quickly if you are in a rush. Keep your style, your body, and your skin tone in mind.
Follow Point 4 to create a wardrobe that is easy to mix and match. If you don’t have attires that easily go together, you’ll never get out of the having-a-hard-time-to-put-an-outfit-together loop. Are you willing to use a long, hyphenated adjective as a description of your misery? We don’t believe so.
Take as much time browsing as possible before making a purchase. You should take the time to look at each piece from every angle. You can move on to the next piece if it doesn’t fit your style, body type, or skin tone. It doesn’t matter if it takes you 7 hours to find the right piece, you should still search for the pieces that fit your needs.
Be mindful of your budget. Consider your budget and check for discounts. You can get a classic-themed piece for your wardrobe if you see them on display. They are often cheaper than the latest designs and look great when you accessorize.
HIGH-LOW DRESSING
Shopping 101 teaches us a simple rule: Do not spend a lot on expensive brand clothes. Mix and match high-end pieces with low-end ones. A simple outfit can be paired with high-quality accessories. These expensive accessories should last for a while in your wardrobe.
LEARN MORE ABOUT BRANDS
Keep a record of all the brands you visit and their products every time you shop. Experience helps you to identify which brands best suit your body and style. These boutiques should be linked to your 3 goals so you can go directly to them. This will save you a lot of time browsing other stores that might not have the product or service you are looking for.
FASHION IS NOT PRIORITIZED
Many people are drawn to an item’s exterior appeal more than its interior craftsmanship and comfort. Don’t be one of those people. Don’t forget comfort and style, and never the other way around. High heels are not good for your feet, so don’t purchase them. You don’t want to scream when you put them on. If you aren’t sure what size shoe you need, do a wet test and measure your feet to find the perfect fit.
SHOW ENOUGH SKINS
We encouraged you in Point 2 to display the parts of your body that are most proud. Show them off with just the right amount skin exposure. Exfoliating too many times is not healthy.
SEEK OUTFITS & ACCESSORIES FOR THE DAY AVAILABLE
Do you put off choosing your accessories and outfits until the last minute? Procrastination can not only make you late for your rendezvous, but it can also be a fashion risk. Don’t rush to put on whatever you see and then run to your car. You might find your clothes are inappropriate or out of place for the environment you are in.
You can dress up for any occasion by choosing your outfits and accessories early in the morning. You’ll have plenty of time to pick items. It’s also possible to relax and enjoy breakfast instead of rushing in the morning.
Balance your Outfits from Top to Bottom
To balance out a loose shirt, wear tight pants. Wear tight pants if you’re looking to wear loose pants.
